Kwikset Kevo Convert Smart Lock Conversion Kit, Satin Nickel

The Kevo Convert smart lock conversion kit transforms your existing deadbolt into a smart lock. With the Kevo App, you can enjoy the convenience of keyless entry and access your home. Kevo Convert is easy to install, program, and use, and it operates on 4 AA batteries.

Now, Kevo Convert works with Alexa voice commands (requires Kevo Plus hub, sold separately). You can lock, unlock (with a PIN), and check the lock status using voice commands.

Kevo Convert is compatible with standard deadbolts. If you have a standard deadbolt mounted separately from the handle below it, it is compatible with Kevo Convert. The conversion kit works with Kwikset, Weiser, Baldwin Prestige, Baldwin Reserve, Baldwin Estate, and Schlage standard deadbolts.

Kevo Convert is compatible with a wide range of Android and iOS devices. The supported Android devices include Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 5X, 6, 6P, 9, HTC One M9, and various Samsung Galaxy models. For iOS, the compatible devices include iPhone 4s, 5, 5s, 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, SE, 7, and 7 Plus, as well as various iPad and iPod Touch models. Kwikset is continuously working to expand the Android device compatibility for Kevo.

Starting February 1, 2017, Kevo eKeys will be completely free of charge. Kevo Convert upgrades your existing deadbolt into a smart lock that you can lock and unlock within Bluetooth range using your smart device.

For remote access, you can use the Kevo Plus Connected Hub (sold separately for $99). This allows you to lock or unlock your door from anywhere. Kevo Convert also now works with Alexa voice commands, provided you have the Kevo Plus Connected Hub.

Kevo Convert is not a touch-to-open smart lock. If you require this feature, you'll need to consider the Kevo 2 (99250-202) smart lock instead.

The Kevo Convert smart lock is compatible with various smart home ecosystems, including Alexa, Ring Doorbell, Skybell, Nest Learning Thermostat, select Honeywell Thermostats, Android Wear, and IFTTT.

To use Kevo Convert, download the Kevo app on your compatible iOS or Android smartphone. With the app, you can lock or unlock your door, send digital keys, and track home access.

Kevo Convert also features an optional auto-lock function, which will automatically lock the door 30 seconds after unlocking, providing an additional layer of safety and peace of mind.
