Aura, a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock, offers one-touch locking and a motorized deadbolt. Within the Bluetooth range, you can use the Kwikset app to control the lock, manage its settings, and assign user codes. With a personalized code, you can conveniently enter your home without a key. Aura is easy to install and operates on 4 AA batteries. This single-cylinder deadbolt can be locked or unlocked using the keypad or key from the outside, as well as the turn button from the inside. The Satin Nickel finish gives the product a crisp, clean, and modern appearance.
The Kwikset app allows you to control the lock remotely while within Bluetooth range. You can lock/unlock the door, share guest access, monitor door activity, and much more. The backlit keypad supports up to 250 access codes, enabling you to schedule access windows or share one-time codes with guests.
The app also allows you to view the history log, receive activity notifications, and monitor user access. You can set a duration for the door to lock automatically after entry or exit, keeping your hands free and allowing for a quick and secure exit or entry.
Aura is easy to install, requiring just a screwdriver and fitting doors between 1-3/8" and 2" thick. Kwikset's SmartKey security protects the lock against advanced break-in techniques and allows you to re-key the lock yourself in seconds.
The product comes with a lifetime mechanical and finish warranty on the locks and handles, as well as a 1-year electronics warranty.
